About

I am a visual artist who works in painting, illustration, luminism, and design. As a self-described “personality artist,” I demystify any notions of who or what an artist “should” be.

My repertoire features large-scale pieces made from raw materials salvaged from construction projects and factory waste, in addition to traditional mediums such as gouache, oil, and ink.

My hands can’t stay still, my methods are many. And though my finished works are diverse and novel (each series being something completely different), my process remains constant— accessible, spontaneous, and exposed. I pull back the curtain and let the viewer in.

The photographs I take, both of myself and other artists, become pieces themselves, blurring the line between art and reality. The result of my output is a hauntingly signature style, as though the work comes from another realm, downloaded through me, taking on a plethora of modalities.

I received my Master of Fine Arts at California College of the Arts and a design degree at the  Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. I learned all the rules to break them.  Taking my talents outside of the canvas and into other modes like fashion and immersive live art experiences is an invitation into the otherwise unapproachable art world.

I integrate the artist and the art; subject and object; artwork and audience; creating a space that enables openness and tests the relationship between our material and digital lives.

I am my process—living, breathing, evolving.
